ROSS POWER

UPLIFT Founder

Founder and workshop designer, Ross Power, is an active Film & TV Composer (Rise of the Footsoldier, Travels with my Father, Iceland, Virgin Trains) with extensive creative experience working with The BBC, Sky & Netflix. He has worked at the Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall as Musical Director and Project Lead for many large-scale productions (The Philharmonia, Southwark Splash, Garsington Opera & Voicelab) alongside creative and vocal projects in the corporate, community and education sectors.

After years of working in the music industry as a musician, writer and producer, Ross witnessed first-hand the transformative impact that music can have on individuals and groups. He observed how music could break down barriers, foster connection, and unlock untapped potential.

His passion is rooted in the connection of the voice to the body and releasing the inner spirit, through expression and growth. Using voice, piano and body percussion, Ross moves with energy and humour within the workshop, enabling complete inhibition for participants which always results in positive outcomes for all.

Inspired by this, Ross created an opportunity to combine his passion for music and his belief in the power of personal and collective development. With UPLIFT, Ross aims to create a unique environment where individuals, teams, and collaborators can harness the transformative power of music to unlock creativity, enhance communication and build stronger connections.

As a natural facilitator, Ross has the unique ability to communicate ideas to participants no matter their musical experience, quickly putting everyone at ease so that they can truly thrive in their personal and professional lives.
